Winter weddings - all you need to know
November is almost upon us and a season of Autumn and Winter weddings is already well underway. Whether you’re putting the finishing touches to your wedding plans for this winter or if you’ve started planning for next year, have a read of our top six trends for cold-weather weddings – they’re timeless!
Metallic
As the nights draw in and the leaves start to fall, metallic hues really come into their own at your reception venue. Choose copper accents for your table settings – dramatic candelabra for example – or style up your bridesmaids’ outfits with rose gold heels and clutches. Be bold and choose a metallic wedding dress for a dramatic ‘Ice Queen’ bride aesthetic.
Food and Drink Pairings
Pairings have been a big thing for summer weddings, and there’s plenty of scope to pair food with drink well into the winter months too. Keep the theme of ‘perfect marriage’ going through the whole day and serve your guests Italian wine with their cosy pasta supper, tangy margaritas with guacamole or even refreshing mimosas with mini patisserie.

Forget sweetie stands; when it’s cold outside this is the perfect thing to perk up your guests – and it looks great in photos too. Cosy Tipples
